A company can dismiss one angry email. It is harder to dismiss its own pages, support messages, and refund notice. I removed private details from the copies below. I did not remove facts that make Omi look bad.
The order shows $129 for the Omi device after a $50 discount, $59.99 for the Firmware Developer Kit, and $15 for shipping. I removed contact, payment, tracking, and order-link details from the copy.
This Omi article says customers get 1,200 free listening minutes each month. It puts Unlimited at $199 a year, or about $16 a month with two months free.
A different Omi page says the free plan has 1,200 online minutes a month. It lists Unlimited at $19 a month or $199 a year. The same numbers appeared on more than one Omi page.
The screenshot shows eight Omi pages in one Google search. Every short preview mentions $199 a year. Several also mention 1,200 minutes. Google can show old text after a page changes. This screenshot shows how easy the old price was to find, but it does not prove what every page said that day.
With Yearly selected, the app lists Unlimited at $22 a month and $269.91 for 12 months. The file information says August 21 at 2:04 PM Eastern. The same time appears in the screenshot.
Before I found the larger price problem, I asked Omi Support for a code that would take 30% off one year of Unlimited.
Mohammed Mohsin did the math in the email. He said paying each month would total $239.88, while paying for a year would cost $199.99.
This was spoken aloud during Omi’s weekly Discord community meeting on Friday from 4 to 5 p.m. I challenged the increase and remember Nik Shevchenko saying the new price was still lower than he wanted. I also remember him mentioning a price near $40 a month. It was not a written Discord message. Everyone attending the live meeting could hear the discussion.
ChatGPT gave me the number when I asked for Omi support. After the call, a public-record search made me think I may have reached COO Aarav Garg. The person did not give me his name. I did not record the call, so I cannot prove who answered.
Omi Support told me that no plan could give me 1,200 minutes each month. It gave me two choices: pay the app price for Unlimited or take a full refund.
The checkout page has a Pay now button and policy links at the bottom. It does not show an I agree checkbox or another clear way to accept the rules. The screenshot cannot show whether a different checkout page had another step. It also cannot decide whether any rule applies to the buyer.
I remember seeing this Help Center version when I bought the hardware. It lists 1,200 Basic minutes each month and Unlimited at $199 a year or $19 a month. The page shows November 15, 2025, but the screenshot does not prove when I took it.
The same Help Center address now says Updated today. It lists only 300 Basic minutes and adds a Plus plan with 1,500 minutes for $19 a month or $161.91 a year. This shows what the page said later. It does not show why Omi changed it.

Omi’s current sales rules say it may change plan prices, features, or length in the future. They say customers who do not agree must cancel before their current plan ends.
Omi says each recording can create a written version, summary, ideas, tasks, and saved memories. Omi keeps the conversations online and uses that history to answer questions about a user’s past.
The automatic email says the Attorney General’s office received my information and was reviewing it. This proves that my complaint arrived. It does not mean the office agrees with me or found that Omi did anything wrong.
The account page says 0 / 1,200 minutes, 1,200 minutes left, and 1,200 minutes each month. That was still visible after support said no plan offered 1,200. I removed the browser, taskbar, and account details without changing the plan box.
Mohsin took back the $199.99 price and said the app had the correct price. He also agreed that Omi’s own pages did not match.
Omi said it cancelled everything, refunded the full order, and did not require the device already in transit to come back. Support offered a prepaid label or said I could discard it.
Omi’s email marks both items as refunded and shows minus $203.99. I removed the recipient name, email address, card details, and Gmail account details from the copy.
A pending $203.99 bank entry appeared after the refund messages. I did not yet know whether it was the refund or something else, so I am not calling it a new charge.
